Tennis Australia Grand Slam Oval 2018

Objectives

After last years success at AO 2017,Tennis Australia engaged Solution Entertainment to coordinate the 2018 entertainment for the Grand Slam Oval. The aim this year was to deliver an impressive 2 weeks of live entertainment across 4 quarters to create a buzz outside of the courts.

Strategy + Results

The brief was to create distinctive quarters at the Grand Slam oval, inspired by Paris, London, USA and a Tokyo. The Paris quarter showcased vibrant Can Can dancers with French inspired street musicians, the USA quarter had 1950’s swing dancers in a dessert themed area scattered with cactuses, London had stand up style acoustics in-front of a double decker bus and Tokyo Alley had an electric gaming vibe with Mario themed dancers from the 1980’s Nintendo game.  Each quarter successfully captured the personality of it’s theme and
